This system made by DEI and marketed under one of its brands (such as Automate, Avital, Clifford, Viper, etc) was an add-on system sold without any remote transmitters. It either was made to integrate with a vehicle's existing factory keyless entry system or to be controlled solely through the valet switch, control module and key. However, the system is capable of receiving signal from a DEI transmitter, so there are replacement parts that can be used with this system. The current replacement part is shown below.
